Queensland-owned,
on the tools,
built on reputation.
Browning's Mechanical Services was built by a diesel fitter who knew the industry from the ground up and wanted to do it properly, on his own terms.

Where Browning's started.
Zane Browning started Browning's Mechanical Services Pty Ltd in 2023, built on years of experience in the diesel fitting trade across shutdowns, mine sites and OEM projects throughout Queensland. Based in Bundaberg, the business grew from on-site relationships and word of mouth, with Komatsu becoming an early OEM client.
From that foundation, Browning's has expanded across the Bowen Basin and wider Queensland, taking on shutdown work, machine relocations, field service and transport servicing. The goal has always been steady, deliberate growth: the right people, the right jobs and a reputation that speaks for itself.

Why Browning's does things differently.
Too many operators in this space send people to site and walk away. Browning's was built to do the opposite: show up, do the work properly and treat every job as a chance to prove what the business is worth.
Cut Out the Middleman, Deliver More Value
Browning's is focused on winning direct contracts with mining, civil, transport and agricultural clients, so clients get experienced tradespeople without the labour-hire margin in between.
Build Long-Term Client Relationships
Every job is an opportunity to earn the next one. Browning's treats each engagement as the start of something ongoing, not a one-off transaction.
Grow the Right Way, Not the Fast Way
The business adds people and machines deliberately, choosing quality over speed to make sure standards stay high as the operation scales.
Put the Owner's Name Behind Every Job
Zane's name is on the business. Every crew member, every subcontractor and every job reflects directly on Browning's reputation — and that keeps standards where they need to be.
"Small enough to care about every job. Experienced enough to handle the complex ones."
What drives the way we work.
These aren't values written on a wall. They're the things that shape how Browning's shows up on site, picks its people and handles every job — from a routine service call to a major machine rebuild.
Pride in the Work, Not Just the Outcome
The team takes genuine care in what they do. Whether it's a routine service or a complex component replacement, the standard doesn't change based on the size of the job.
Selective About Who Represents the Business
Subcontractors are chosen through proven on-site relationships, not just availability. If Browning's puts someone on your site, they've already earned that trust.
Open Communication, No Surprises
Clients are kept informed throughout a job. If something comes up, it's raised early. The culture is straightforward: communicate clearly and sort things out properly.
Safety Isn't Negotiable on Any Site
Every person working under the Browning's banner holds the tickets and site inductions required to operate safely. That's a baseline, not a selling point.

Built on people who know what good work looks like.
The Browning's team is built on people who've been in the industry long enough to know what good work actually looks like. Small by design, selective by necessity.

Zane Browning is the founder and Director of Browning's Mechanical Services, bringing several years of hands-on experience across the mining, heavy earthmoving, transport, civil and agricultural industries.
Zane Browning founded Browning's Mechanical Services after building his trade as a diesel fitter across field service, breakdowns, shutdowns and maintenance supervision. He's worked across mining, transport, civil and agricultural industries throughout Queensland, from light vehicles through to the largest mining fleets, including underground work.
Zane remains actively involved in the business today, working alongside the team on every job. His approach is simple: turn up, work hard, communicate honestly and let the work speak for itself.
"We might be a small business, but we take pride in doing things properly. Every job is an opportunity to build our reputation, and that's something we'll never take for granted."
— Zane Browning, Director
